About Us
HugLab is an innovative startup that aims to design smart interactive toys to stimulate and monitor social and emotional competences in both neurodivergent and neurotypical children.
HugLab provides design and consulting services, as well as technical support for the adoption and use of technological tools in educational settings, including educational robotics and virtual reality applications.
HugLab is open to establishing partnerships for collaborative research projects at national and international level. PIC: 867679939
Huglab was founded following its selection in the "Boost Your Ideas 2024 - call 9" acceleration programme, a competitive initiative supporting the creation and growth of start-ups ("Impresa premiata Boost Your Ideas 2024, PR Lazio FESR 2021/2027, Obiettivo specifico 1.3").
The Team
We are a group of researchers at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies, National Research Council of Italy. We established HugLab with the aim of fostering the technology transfer and practical exploitation of research results generated within our scientific activities.
